I have been recieving SLS training from Andres at the G
Voice Studio for over a year now, and I have almost
gained a full octave in vocal ability which I would have
thaught impossible at the beginning. But its not just my
range that has improved, my control, diction and power
have improved greatly also. I consider my voice to be my
main instrument, and Andres training has been priceless
when it comes to performing and recording.

What does my experience of the Galway Voice Studio mean
to me? I am a singer in a full time band. If my voice is
not in shape it directly affects the quality of my work,
I cannot deliver a performance that meets my own
standards. While learning vocal techniques at the
Galway
Voice Studio does not magically mean that you no longer
get sick, it does allow me to play ten or even fourteen
nights on the trot without feeling the vocal fatigue
that I would have prior to my work with Andres. The
speech level singing technique has allowed me to improve
all of the components of my voice; I have a better range,
my diction is hugely improved, I get more from my voice
for less effort. I have been liberated from the limits
old voice and can now be far more
confident and ambitious with my instrument! Finally, I
would like to add that the environment which Andres has
created at his studio is a very comfortable place to
work, and improve in. this is in no small part to his
own character and enthusiasm for his work, and his pleasure
in seeing his students enjoy what talent they have
locked inside themselves.I have, and continue to
recommend the Galway Voice Studio to anybody who cares
to listen to me?????.. Thanks for coming to Galway

"When you pick an instrument to learn you source a good
teacher and you practice until you perfect your playing.
The same applies to singing. I have always wanted to
sing professionally but I had no confidence in my voice
lasting the pace. I constantly sang too low which in
turn damages the chords. I met Andres and I began to
give my voice the attention it deserved just like you
would give the guitar or piano. I learned to respect my
instrument and it in turn has never let me down when
performing. The greatest gift you get from Speech Level
Singing is knowing that you can hit every note you want,
as long as you believe you can. The technique does the
work. Andres is a patient and dedicated teacher and as a
professional singer himself he practices what he
preaches. His passion for voice training is clearly
reflected in the high standard of his students. Thank

I’ve only had
12 lessons with Andres and the results have been amazing!
I must admit, I
was a little unsure at first, because the methods were
very different from any other type of singing I had
studied. But within about 6 weeks, I started to feel and
hear the difference to my voice. Andres has already
helped me put an octave on to my range quite easily and
comfortably. The methods have not only improved my
singing but my speaking voice as well. As someone who
depends on their voice for their profession, finding
Andres have been a great asset for me. Andres is an
excellent teacher whose enthusiasm is contagious and a
joy to be around. I would highly recommend him to you!

"I began vocal lessons with Andres six months ago. He
immediately targeted the problem areas with my voice and
began to address them with tailor-made lessons.
Singing with Jaga had required me to be right at the
edge of my vocal range constantly. Andreas has helped me
so far to extend my range, so all of a sudden those high
notes don't seem so high any more!
He has also taught me how to relax my vocal chords and
tension in my face when I am singing, resulting in a
much less harsh and more full-sounding vocal, which is a
big part of what I was looking for when I first sought

Until recently I have
mostly been a backing singer in a couple of bands doing
folk, country, rock n roll, singer/songwriter, m.o.r.
and ballad music. The speech level singing method has
really helped me with range, control and confidence - so
much so that I am now playing some solo gigs!
Andres is a terrific teacher, full of enthusiasm and
always pinpointing the next step. I would advise anyone
who sings or wants to sing to try this out. It's
terrific. |
